GRAFFITI & STREET ART
- BEERENS -
These last weeks, paste up pieces signed by Beerens appeared in several districts of Paris. Parisian artist, Michael Beerens is known for his animal drawings. Often in black and white, his works are beautiful by their apparent simplicity and by the story they tell. With simple lines, the artist focuses on the essentials. Simple but effective !
Here, Beerens played with the names of several streets of Paris ...
Rue du Chat qui Pêche (Fishing Cat street)
Rue des Frigos (Fridges street)
Passage Petit-Cerf (Small Deer way)
Rue du Pélican (Pelican street)
Not far from the Moulin de la Galette
The artist also exposes his work in the street to question people about different themes. Begging, pollution, deforestation, economy, all these issues are directly related to man. Each of us can give a meaning to these animals who reflect our imperfect society, with sometimes a touch of humor.
