The Canal Saint-Martin connects the port of Arsenal visible in this picture with its many boats, to the Bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The July Column erected on the Place de la Bastille, reminds us that the port was built on the site of a ditch of the old fortress of the Bastille.
Place des Vosges is occupied in its center by the square Louis XIII, and is located in the Marais district in Paris. Buildings constructed of red brick and a white limestone are characteristic of this place, formerly the Place Royale. The Place Dauphine, situated on the Ile de la Cité, was built in the same spirit.
Poulbot Street is located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Paved street, winding, typical of the Old Montmartre, it is very crowded with several restaurants and many charming small houses.
The bridge "Pont Royal" connecting the rue du Bac to the Quai des Tuileries and Quai François Mitterrand. In the background you can see the dome of the Institut de France and the two towers of Notre Dame.
Some Parisian balconies are enhanced by their occupants who set shrubs and flowers, making the streets a little greener and prettier. An example here with the street Montmartre and its green and flowery balconies.
The Eiffel Tower and La Défense seen from the Montparnasse Tower in the late evening. Facing the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower is the Military Academy and we can also see the UNESCO headquarters building with its star-shaped with three branches. On the left the subway tracks air of the line 6 along the Boulevard Garibaldi, connecting Nation to Charles de Gaulle - Étoile.
In the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the Esplanade des Invalides was created in the early eighteenth century. With its vast lawns where it is good to walk in good weather, the esplanade leads to the Hôtel des Invalides and its dome.
