GRAFFITI & STREET ART
- KIDULT -
Kidult hits Supreme and ages the face of Kate Moss
Kidult found a new way to attack brands using street art for commercial purposes. First, he tagged their windows, and now he altered their advertising campaigns. Since a few days, the artist aims the last fashionable brand Supreme in Paris, around Les Halles, and altered their poster which features the model Kate Moss. Posters that they had stucked on the walls of several big cities, in the style of street artists...
He changed the leopard fur's color, added make-up, and replaced the logo Supreme by Kidult. But the most striking is the voluntary ageing of the model on the poster while the fashion magazines and advertisements emphasize the youth and beauty with photographs always retouched to achieve aesthetic perfection that they themselves define. It is so easy to retouch a photograph...
Attack against brands which made the graffiti and urban art the last fashion and which take advantage from this sudden interest, misleading advertising denounced, the artist continues his fight with all these posters spotted in the streets of Paris.
