Stew' samurai on the walls of Paris Pasteup works of the street artist Stew represent samurai, the heroic warrior of the Japanese culture. Represented in black and white in various postures, some are accompanied with a touch of color emanating from the face.
Fish scales, waves and other motives remind us the Japanese prints and tempt us to admire again the prints of the great masters such as Hiroshige, Hokusai or Kuniyoshi. But the artist also adds a personal touch and contemporary elements to these warriors, such as death's-head, studded bracelet, tattoo or spray can. Samourai of modern times! Very beautiful works to be discovered! Official Website: http://www.stewearth.com/
