Tom Gilmour - Sacred Folklore
The Maison 15/75 presents currently the London-based artist Tom Gilmour. Located in the district of Charonne for over a year, the gallery aims to present quirky contemporary artists. Entitled "Sacred Folklore", the exhibition features beautiful woodcut works that combine aesthetic codes of 80 riders, Asian iconography and native art. His black and white drawings with bold lines, and his work on shade remind the art of tattooing. Full of details, his art combine daggers, mandalas, symbols of death, roses, wolves and other animals. An exhibition to discover until the end of April !
